admissions requirements
In order to enroll in Denham Springs Beauty College, you:
  • must be at least 16 years old
  • have a high school diploma from a state recognized high school or GED
  • Home-schooled students must provide proof of registration with the LA Board of Secondary Education.
  • Foreign diplomas must be translated by the Association of International Credential Evaluator or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
how do i enroll?
Call the Admissions Director at 225-665-6188 to set up an appointment and tour the school. What do I bring with me when I apply?
  • Government issued photo identification
  • Original Social Security Card
  • Official high school transcript
  • $100 non-refundable application fee (cash, check or money order)

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. We offer and accept a range of financial aid options. You can get more information about financial aid and the application process by calling our Financial Aid Advisor at 225-665-6188. To see what you qualify for, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov. Our school code is 026192.

federal pell grant
This grant is awarded to students with financial need and does not have to be repaid. The amount of your Federal PELL grant depends on your cost of attendance, expected family contribution, enrollment status, and whether you attend for a full academic year or less.
federal student loans
Student loans are borrowed from the federal government and must be repaid, including interest. You must be enrolled at least part-time to be eligible.
plus loans
PLUS loans are loans parents may obtain to help pay the cost of education for thier dependent undergraduate children. Parents must fill out a Parent Plus loan application and credit check at studentaid.gov.
tops & top tech
TOPS is a program of state scholarships for Louisiana residents who attend one of the Louisiana Public Colleges and Universities, schools that are a part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Louisiana approved Proprietary and Cosmetology Schools or institutions that are a part of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
